Today was a pretty relaxing day. I went to the grocery store, I really hate going to the grocery store. Every time I go by myself I have a list. Now this list usually is not in the order of the store layout, and I usually forget something. I really need a pen so I can cross things off, or I need a layout of the store and make my list accordingly....I am not the only one who thinks like this, am I??
We also went for another walk. For those of you who don't know my dog very well, I think she would give up breathing to go on walks. She loves them that much. Heather and Elana used to go almost every night, and I am sure in a few weeks they will start up again. Now Kona goes with them all the time too. At around 7:30-7:45 Kona starts whining and staring at the door. Sometimes she even goes to the door and noses the door handle. I have never seen anything like it before. She gets all excited when Heather puts her shoes on, and Elana knocks on the door. Elana usually chats for a little bit and Kona gets very vocal that she wants to go now. Then off they go. So you can probably understand the last few week Kona has been sad...
We asked her if she wanted to walk with us today, and she got very excited. Running to the door, running back to us, and back again....ahhh typical Kona when you say walk in my house. Next time anyone who reads this stops by, just say, "Walk" and see what happens. You don't even have to say it to her, just say it :) So while we were out today, I told Heather while I am here try and take the stroller and Kona to see if she could do it. Kona does not typically run after things, and listens most of the time, but she pulls. So Heather kept a short leash on her and was able to handle them both pretty well. Course Kona also has this bad habit of not watching where she is going.....Heather said one time she was looking at a rabbit across the road and walked into a for sale sign, and knocked it over....I am not kidding.....
So here is a little video of Kona and Gillie on their second of very many walks.
Lisa stopped by this afternoon to see Gillian and us. We are still very thankful Lisa was there with us when Gillian was born. It meant so much to us, and I don't think I would have been able to keep my cool if she was not there. So thanks again Lisa. I bet you did not think you would have been one of few to see Gillie for the first two weeks of her life, and how much you mean to Heather, Gillian and Me. (Don't worry, I will send you some pics :) )
Well that is all for now. Think I am going to go and play some COD and then call it a night.

Ok, Ok, Ok I get it. Tell Kona I will be there tomorrow to start walking again. I need it more than she does however. Loved the video and it looks like she started out good anyway.
You should have to do the shopping thing when you can't read the list. Ugh!
We are so happy for the three of you that everything is going so well.
I feel the same way about the shopping list... gotta have a method to my madness.
Glad Gillian is getting out with Kona to walk. :) It is good to see you all get back to "normal" life. :)
