Today is Gillian's two month birthday. Can't believe it has been two months already... Time sure flys.
Grandpa David flew into town yesterday, or should I as very early this morning. He was suppose to get in around 2 pm from NY, and got in at 2 am! His flight from NY got delayed due to weather, then some mechanical problems. When he got to Newark he had the same issues. So it was a very long day for him, but he said it was worth it so see us and meet his first grandbaby :)


One of our friends is the chief accountant at a local Winery in NY where we grew up. On Friday she had asked me if I could take some pictures for them. Most of it will be of their bottles of wine in different settings. Like single bottles with a white background to put on a website, groups of the same label, and some artistic images. So last night I tried some and they did not turn out as well as I wanted....but I love a challenge and will get them done right. I am going to send her some images this weekend to see if that is what they want. If so, this could be a pretty big side project for me, and something that I would absolutely love to do. Went to the camera store today and picked ip a softbox for my SB-600 and a stand. This will defiantly help out a lot with my lighting issue. Also going to go to the fabric store and get some backdrops cheap. So keep your fingers crossed and hope I can figure out my lighting issue and get to take a bunch of wine pictures.
