Hi there. It's Heather again! I usually let Casey do all the posting, but I was telling him what he needed to post today, and he looked at me and said "Why don't you just put what you want on the blog." So, here I am doing a quick post. Today was the Crohn's Walk, which we were really looking forward to. Unfortunately, it was 100 degrees here today. It was HOT! So, we decided that it would probably not be a great thing to have Gillian out in that weather for a 3 mile walk. Casey's sister, Karlee, was the only other person who had signed up to walk with us, and I don't think she was too disappointed that we decided to skip the walk. :) We did all drive over the walk site, and pick up our t-shirts. We hung out for about 30 minutes and then headed home. It was just so uncomfortable out, and we were really worried about Gillian being outside for long. We were bummed about it, because it is something that is important to us, and we really enjoyed participating in the walk last year. We still want to send a HUGE thanks out to everyone who made donations to the Crohn's/Colitis Foundation. Even though we didn't actually do the walk, we were still able to support the Foundation through your donations, which was what was really important. So, again...thanks a bunch! Hopefully it won't be quite so hot next year!

I don't have any pictures to post of Gillian right now. I think Casey took a few today (he takes a bunch everyday!), so maybe he'll post some later. Hope that you all have a wonderful weekend!
